The old production model couldn’t keep up. So we built one that could.
POP Australia is a collective of obsessive makers, part production house, part creative lab, using emerging technology, traditional production and audience intelligence to make ambitious work possible on timelines and budgets that shouldn’t allow for it. Good ideas deserve to be made in full, not diluted by budget into whatever version is safe enough to approve. We built POP to close that gap: creative strategy up front, production through the middle using traditional craft, generative AI, or the hybrid of both, and activations and creative technologists for the ideas that need to leave the screen altogether.
One team across the whole line, brought in wherever your brief needs us, backed by Havas Village and Havas’s global network already running this model with a follow the sun mentality. The thinking is local, the system isn’t new.
The tech doesn’t replace the craft. It gives the craft more room to work: the same crew, the same location, the same director who knows exactly where to put the camera, without the budget forcing half the ideas in a brief out of the room before anyone shoots them. The same asset works harder too, more formats, more markets, more versions, from fewer shoot days and less rework. And because we were the ones who ran into rights and provenance problems first, we built Vermeer to answer them properly rather than guess. Based in Australia and New Zealand we are a team who want to ensure good ideas get made, rather than dying with a budget or timeline.
You can sit in the room, visit the set, and know who’s making the calls but know that we have a global network behind us to call upon when needed.
Extensive experience across traditional and VFX, with years of experience learnt from the Global POP team. What works in one market doesn’t stay there, so you get the benefit of every market’s best thinking, not just ours.
We track inputs and outputs and build work that holds up to legal and brand scrutiny. It’s why we built our own proprietary tools, Vermeer.ai & Converged.ai.

We exist to to ensure content doesnt become e-waste. We use our global reach and new tech to make sure the craft stays high even when the world is moving fast. If it’s not worth making, we’ll tell you. If it is, we’ll make it better than anyone thought you could afford.
As part of the wider Havas network, we are working to drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emission. POP is proud to be an investor and founding member of AdGreen, working towards eliminating negative environmental impact in production.
